Show customers you deliver the same quality, every time.

ISO 9001 is the quality certificate tenders and major customers ask for. We build a quality management system around how you already work, then get you ready for certification.

In short: ISO 9001 is the certifiable international standard for quality management. Cyber Veda implements it around how your business already works and integrates it with ISO 27001 where you have it.

Why ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is often a minimum requirement in government, construction, manufacturing and professional services tenders. It tells customers you have defined processes, measure how well they work and fix problems at the root, not just once.

The seven quality management principles

ISO 9001 is built on the seven principles described in ISO 9000: customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, the process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. We design your quality system so each one shows up in how you actually work, not just in a manual.

Quality and security, together

Many of our clients need both a quality certificate and a security one. Because ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 share the same structure, we build them side by side: one risk process, one document set, one internal audit program and one management review. Adding the second standard costs far less than the first.

Independent internal audits

Already certified, or built your quality system in-house? We run standalone ISO 9001 internal audits, independent of whoever built the system and conducted to ISO 19011:2018, so you see every gap before surveillance or recertification. See how our internal audits work.

FAQ

Common questions

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system (QMS). It sets requirements for consistently meeting customer and regulatory requirements and improving over time, and it can be independently certified by an accredited certification body.

Can ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 run as one system?

Yes. Both follow the same high-level structure, so leadership, risk, documentation, internal audit and management review can be shared. We design them as one integrated management system, which means less paperwork and one set of meetings.

What does ISO 9001 require?

Clauses 4 to 10 set the requirements: understanding your context and customers, leadership commitment, planning for risks and opportunities, resources and competence, controlled operations, measuring performance, internal audit, management review and continual improvement. Unlike ISO 27001 there is no Annex A of controls.

Is ISO 9001 required for government tenders?

Often in construction, manufacturing, infrastructure and professional services, where it can be a minimum requirement or a scored criterion. Read the tender carefully: some accept certification in progress, others require the certificate at submission.

How long does ISO 9001 take?

It depends on your size, how many sites and processes are in scope and how much is already documented. If you already run ISO 27001, much of the management system is shared, which shortens the path. We give you a realistic timeline in the free consultation.

How long is ISO 9001 certification valid?

Three years, with surveillance audits in years one and two and a recertification audit in year three, all run by your certification body. You also need an internal audit and management review each year.

Who issues the ISO 9001 certificate?

An accredited certification body, which you engage directly for the external audit. We recommend and introduce ones we have worked with in your region. We build and test your quality management system, then support you through their Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits.
